Queue management in bank branches

Manage in-branch flow by segment: priority customers are separated, routed to the right counter by transaction type, and every transaction is timed. All branches are compared from one centre.

What changes in this sector

Branch performance becomes measurable

Segment-based priority

Priority, corporate and retail customer types are defined, and calling order follows those rules.

Appointments with tickets

Customers arriving by appointment and those taking a ticket are managed in the same flow, balancing counter load.

Branch comparison

Average wait, service time and abandonment rate are reported per branch, monitored centrally in one panel.

Typical flow

Four steps from welcome to report

01

Welcome

The customer chooses a transaction type at the kiosk; segment data is matched when available.

02

Queue

The ticket joins the queue by transaction type and priority rule.

03

Counter calls

The teller calls from the terminal; number and counter appear on screen.

04

Central report

Service time is recorded and reflected in branch and teller reports.

Recommended hardware

From branch entrance to counter

  • Kiosk — transaction type selection and ticket
  • Call display (LCD) — number, counter and transaction type
  • LED indicator — counter number and routing above the desk
  • Counter terminal — calling, transfer and completing transactions

Hardware options and communication interfaces are listed in the hardware section.

Frequently asked

Common questions in finance

Can customer segments come from our CRM?
Yes. Customer and segment data can be pulled from your CRM through the RESTful API, and priority rules act on that data.
Can priority rules be changed later?
Yes. Rule definitions are updated from the administration panel, and branch software picks up the new definition shortly after.
Can hundreds of branches run on one system?
The central edition scales with branch count; above 10 branches we recommend running it on IIS.
Is user activity auditable?
Yes. Call, transfer and completion actions are logged per user, and passwords are stored hashed.
